Dr. Jennifer Jetté
During my 20-year career in mental health, I have worked as a therapist and assessment specialist in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient mental health, student development services, correctional services, and in private practice. I specialize in clinical and forensic psychology with adults, adolescents, and families.
I have been the Clinical Co-Director at a residential treatment program for high risk youth and the Clinical Supervisor at an adolescent forensic outpatient program. I have supervised clinical psychology graduate students and provisionally registered psychologists and taught several courses at the University of Western Ontario and Mount Royal University.
I have over 18 years of experience writing reports for Provincial Court and Court of Queen’s Bench. I also have specialized training in risk and threat assessment and management. I have assisted in the development of an inpatient treatment program in a youth custody facility and provided consultation services to defense counsel, Crown counsel and judges.
I completed my Masters and Doctoral Degrees at the University of Western Ontario. My research areas included humour, stress and coping and institutional abuse. I am a registered psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a member of the Canadian Psychological Association and the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta.

Joel Mader, M.Ed.
Registered Provisional Psychologist
I work with adolescents and adults to facilitate meaningful change and assist individuals in overcoming challenges related to mental health and addictive behaviours. Although I am keen to work with all clients, I have a special interest in working with men and adolescent males.
Many people feel alone and isolated when navigating mental health issues; as a result, they feel overwhelmed and have difficultly seeing a path forward. Other people have a sense of what they would like to achieve but are uncertain as to how to enact change in their lives. As your therapist I will work with you to set meaningful goals and bring about changes that will restore mental health and well-being.
As part of my practice I use interventions and techniques that are practical and have been shown to be effective in addressing specific mental health issues. This includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Structured Relapse Prevention and Motivational Interviewing.
My approach emphasizes collaboration, empathy, warmth and understanding, recognizing that these are important factors in developing an effective therapeutic relationship.
